In the 1960s, having recently completed work experience in the offices of the renowned Eero Saarinen, Warren Platner was commissioned to create a new line of furniture for the Knoll Company. The result? His most famous range; coined the 'Platner Collection'. It was a testament, perhaps, to the modernist influence harboured by Eero Saarinen. Fashioned from a base sculpture of hundreds of wire rods, the furniture pushes the boundary between furniture and architecture, without neglecting practicality. Available as a Dining Table, a Stool and a Chair, the Platner range fits well into a variety of modern interiors. Our products are reproduced to the style of the original design.
