This or ' Chair' as it's often called is finished in European Beech painted in black and finished with a natural paper cord. The finish is closed pore which means the grain of the wood is not visible to give a clean look and smooth feel. The curved hind legs and the semicircular top rail together with the elegant Y-back endows the chair with a gracious and welcoming air. We only use solid European Beech from Germany for this Chair, which is First Grade (FAS) timber. This means the Beech chosen is certified to be the finest cut from the log. Swivel UK have produced the Beech painted in black and finished with a natural paper cord chair for the past 12 years.
